Do it here. What you’ll be doing… You’ll be responsible for driving customer success and insights programs in the public sector field marketing organization in Verizon Business Group (VBG). You’ll collaborate with groups across the shared marketing functions to drive programs across all six segments of the business (Federal DoD, Federal Civilian, State and Local – large and small entities, and education) in the realm of events, sponsorships, partner marketing programs, case studies, thought-leadership, speaking engagements and other showcases for customer success. You’ll also gather competitive insights from partners across the business unit and share them with others in VBG. Maximize the effectiveness of public sector marketing programs showcasing customer success through events, webinars, partner marketing initiatives and other relevant tactics. Work with the segment marketing team to align with the strategy for each sub-segment. Participate in industry events to gain market insights, network with FED/SLED Officials, conduct speaking engagements and PR interviews (in collaboration with the communications team). Provide operational coordination across the entire public sector field marketing organization. Manage budget and resources to meet the overarching strategic priorities of the public sector field marketing organization. Create marketing programs that reflect an understanding of key audiences and align high-impact content to audience needs. Establish a set of key metrics that aligns marketing objectives with the underlying drivers of the business. Drive the creation of materials based on case studies, webinars, events strategies, partner marketing requirements in collaboration with the shared marketing organization. Develop recruitment strategy to identify customers as references. Support NPS programs in VBG for public sector. Develop and nurture formal and informal professional networks in the marketing organization, across other departments and outside the organization. Leverage partners, associations and other consortiums to engage with customers and bolster Verizon’s solutions and thought-leadership. Establish a group of stakeholders to contribute to a successful reference program (i.e. Sales Operations, Fed & SLED Sales Managers, SGA, Domain Experts, BD, Proposal Management, Communications, Events, Legal). What we’re looking for… **This position can be located in any valid Verizon US based corporate location.** You’ll need to have: Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience. Six or more years of relevant work experience. Four or more years of experience in government sales or marketing. Experience leading a team. Willingness to travel. Even better if you have one or more of the following: A Master’s degree in business or related field. Excellentwritten and verbal communication skills, including a proven ability to communicate with senior business leaders. Experience in events marketing, partner marketing, customer success programs, webinars, PR and communications, preferably involving complex organizations requiring influence that extends outside the marketing realm. Experience managing a high-performing team. Experience allocating and managing budgets and resources against strategic priorities. Experience communicating cross-functionally. Experience cultivating talent. Experience influencing key stakeholders across complex organizations.
