Minneapolis, Minnesota, Job Description The Sr. Marketing Programs Coordinator will own various day-to-day operations for and implement process improvements to various industry advisor award programs and industry top advisor summits/conferences. In addition, the senior coordinator will own and maintain relevant industry credentials, ensuring they are used compliantly within internal and external consumer-facing materials. Responsibilities Provide support for Ameriprise advisor attendance at Barron’s and Forbes top advisor summits. Tasks include working directly with industry publication contacts to coordinate tickets for events, assembling invitation lists, writing advisor communications, answering advisor questions, tracking event registrations, planning Ameriprise-only events for each summit, coordinating attendee gifts where relevant, creating marketing materials for summit attendees. Own the Five Star Wealth Manager Award program for the firm. Tasks include meeting regularly with Five Star Professional (third-party company) to discuss changes to their processes/materials, maintaining/updating marketing materials, working closely with business partners to resolve issues, answering advisor questions about promoting their award, tracking award winners in Salesforce. Provide support for other top tier award programs (Forbes, Barron’s, etc.). Tasks include updating marketing guides, writing advisor communications, maintaining the Advisor Professional Awards Compass page, tracking advisor activity in Salesforce and answering advisor questions. Provide support for the firm’s local industry awards program. Tasks include implementing process improvements, creating/maintaining basic advisor-facing marketing materials/guidelines for promoting local awards, facilitating the award review process with Legal and Marketing RP, maintaining master list of approved awards and answering advisor questions. Own and maintain list of relevant Ameriprise credentials. Tasks include gathering feedback from business partners about new credentials, facilitating the review process for new credentials and accompanying disclosures, updating list of credentials on firm intranet sites, reviewing business partners’ requests to use credentials in marketing items, identifying possible new credentials for the firm to promote. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required with 3-5 years relevant experience. Professional, self motivated and able to work with limited supervision. Strong teamwork orientation, communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle multiple planned and unplanned project tasks, roles and responsibilities. Persistent attention to detail, while maintaining an overall view of the situation. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
