Palm Springs, California, Job Summary:
Under the direction of the Director of Brand Marketing, the Sr. Communications Manager will lead the internal and external communication needs for DAP Health and Revivals Stores. Planning and executing all internal and external communication efforts for a wide range of communication channels, including for press releases, donors, patients, shoppers, and fundraising events. The Sr. Communications Manager will have a focus on meeting revenue-generating goals specific to patient and donor acquisition and stewardship.  
Duties/Responsibilities:  

Writing to include:

Establishes and maintains an editorial calendar, content roadmap, and associated workflows for all DAP Health and Revivals Stores internal and external communications.
Creates high-impact content for usage across a range of channels that educate, engage, and inspire our customers, partners and employees.
Works closely and communicate effectively with sales and account management teams to develop communication strategies.
Produces content for a variety of formats and channels including blog articles, whitepapers, email, press releases, case studies, videos, webinars, and social media.
Develops a deep understanding media & content industry as it applies to health care, retail, and donor stewardship and serves as subject matter expert.
Creates and maintains messaging guides for verticals, segments, and products using StoryBrand methodology.

Public Relations to include:

Manages existing public relations and reviews ongoing performance to drive our earned media.
Initiates write, edits, and circulates press releases among appropriate internal and external stakeholders.
Pitches press releases to trade and industry media as necessary.

Social, Blogs, and Thought Leadership to include:

Creates stories that resonate with our customers through compelling imagery and copy.
Partners with senior leaders to develop thought leadership stories and bylines that drive DAP Health and Revivals Stores’ brand, credibility, and business objectives.
Expands the reach of blogs and thought leadership through a compelling multi-channel approach including video, graphics, social media, white papers, podcasts, and more.
Provides DAP Health and Revivals Stores POV for competitive positioning and industry news.
Understands SEO best practices and applies knowledge to content strategy.
Sources and develops content sponsorships and/or partnerships that enhance brand awareness and/or conversion.

Develops ideation tools and tactics to match innovative strategies to the best digital tactics to meet departmental goals.
Leverages data to drive decision-making to ensure we learn from the past and use insights to develop more deeply engaging content. 

Leads script, presentation, and webinar writing for senior leaders.

Leads or participates in cross-departmental meetings to listen and learn specific to annual goals.

Works with internal teams to identify industry trends, execute PR activities, and assist with the creation of copy for product positioning and messaging.
Helps develop and execute campaign plans to promote new product launches.
Manages relationships with freelancers, contractors, and/or third-party agencies.
Uses email marketing campaigns to drive engagement and communicate our brand values.
Writes content for weekly and monthly emails, aggregating company and industry news.
Provides Cross-Departmental reporting and support upon request for grants, resource development, community health, community partners, etc.
Provides event support:  Creation of event landing pages on website and CRM.
Must stay up to date with the latest technology, trends, and best practices.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:

Continuous monitoring and skills development of new tools, products, and best practices as it relates to email marketing, WordPress, Google Business, social media, and fundraising.
Brings the best self to team meetings and cross-departmental projects.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or another related field.
Social Media for Healthcare Certification;
Google Certifications – Analytics, AdWords, etc.
