Boston, Massachusetts, We are looking for a Senior Channel Marketing Manager for Columbia Threadneedle Investments U.S., responsible for executing customized broker/dealer and firm-specific marketing strategies. In this role you will develop and implement integrated channel marketing plans and partner with our event management team to increase engagement and demand with prospective clients (Financial Advisors) and those already doing business with Columbia Threadneedle Investments. You will collaborate and partner closely with national account managers, sales distribution teams, marketing leaders, product managers creative/content/digital strategy partners and colleagues across the organization to help achieve our business goals and objectives. Responsibilities You will develop, manage, promote, measure and maintain firm/channel-specific marketing campaigns, platform program initiatives as well as support key virtual and in-person events. You will use relevant data, research, firm insights, thought leadership and value-add content using digital channels and resources available. Manage material development relevant to firm/channel-specific needs or opportunities. This material includes but is not limited to integrated campaigns, email campaigns, event promotions, sales ideas, product promotions, presentations, sponsorship ads and promotional/premium materials using both digital and traditional marketing approaches. Play a vital role in the ongoing development of marketing strategy and partner with national account and sales distribution to help support product availability, product platform placement and help contribute to overall distribution effectiveness in driving gross and net inflows Ensure content delivers appropriate, and consistent product, brand and firm-specific messaging where applicable Develop strong working relationships to ensure that all marketing communications align with appropriate firm/channel and product strategies/objectives and regulatory guidelines Proactively see opportunities for leveraging marketing initiatives across other channels Continuously gather feedback regarding marketing initiatives and sales support materials Drive measurable campaign results; appropriately measure campaign effectiveness, provide recommendations for improvement, share and implement best practices Ensure compliance with appropriate SEC/FINRA and corporate guidelines and regulations in all communications Understand and adhere to firm filing processes and firm-specific digital limitations Lead compliance approval for all assigned projects and coordinate material submissions with the firm filing coordinator Required Qualifications 5-7 years of financial services marketing, asset management, channel marketing, product management or distribution experience Understanding of multiple investment products including mutual funds, SMAs, ETFs, and/or model portfolios Strong project management, listening, communication, written and verbal communication skills Experience with digital marketing Preferred experience in intermediary-centred investment product distribution FINRA Series 6 or the ability to obtain within a defined period of time Preferred Qualifications You will be motivated, energetic and results orientated with strong interpersonal and relationship building skills. Attention to detail and working to tight deadlines is essential as well as a willingness to proactively contribute to the team and effectively collaborate with business partners.
