Sales and Marketing Manager – HIV Franchise | Abbott


Taguig City, State Not Indicated, This role will be responsible for conceptualizing, planning, directing and monitoring the activities for HIV franchise to achieve established sales targets. The HIV Sales and Marketing Manager will formulate strategies and tactics that will realize the Abbott Rapid Diagnostics (ARDx)’s vision of providing comprehensive HIV solution in the Philippines. He/She should propose and implement market shaping activities to further develop and open new opportunities that will support in elevating the HIV control and management in the Philippines. He / she should enable various market access for new products that will be introduced.             Direct Reports: 2 Sales Representatives Key Areas of Accountability: Lead the strategic planning and execution in ARDx HIV business with the goal of maximizing all ARDx HIV products Develop/shape/customize/implement/drive the local country HIV commercial / marketing strategies that is aligned with Abbott Global & Regional Commercial / Marketing Strategy Meet established financial goals (Top line & bottom line) and objective while maintaining territory budget. Regularly track sales results vs projected budget and outcomes objectives. Manages, develops, and coaches subordinates to consistently achieve commercial results Develop and execute business plan, especially new product introduction to accelerate Abbott HIV products and services availability with business partners Lead the HIV KOL Management by having regular coordination and activities with them Establish and improve relationship with national program personnel to provide insight and help shape HIV program policies and guidelines Support distribution partners and its customers in the sale of products, including training, sales meeting, technical expertise and marketing support of the Abbott product portfolio. Ensure all business activities are conducted professionally, aligned with regulatory and industry guidelines and are conducted in a manner consistent with Abbott’s Code of Conduct guidelines, and Abbott’s Anti-Corruption Policy Job Specification Knowledge & Experience: Can handle complex situations like sales management, multiple product managements and handling people Demonstrated team leadership and can excellently collaborate cross functionally Must have an excellent time and project management skills Competencies required: Strong leadership and influencing skills Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills Must be able to work in a team environment, good organizational skills, and has a multi- tasking ability Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills Project management Minimum Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Medical technology Biology, Chemistry, Laboratory science or equivalent. Post-Graduate qualifications in Marketing or Business preferred Solid understanding of the IVD (preferably POC) market in Philippines +5 years of Sales experience in IVD industry desirable. Experienced in selling with distribution partner or local spot dealers Proven excellence in both written and oral communication in Filipino and English Aggressive, willing to take on stretch targets
