Washington, D.C., The National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) is seeking a highly organized Program Manager, Student Chapters.  This position will lead membership recruitment and retention effort for student chapters.  Position will engage regularly with student members and faculty advisors.  Creates and reports statistics on chapter membership and develops pathways for membership expansion.  Originates marketing campaigns and develops marketing materials.  Expands web presence and social networks.
Qualified candidates will have a general knowledge and/or exposure to association management practices, strong interpersonal skills, and an analytical mindset to assist the development and delivery of programs and services.  Candidates must also be well-organized and detail oriented.  The ability to collaborate with and provide excellent customer service to a variety of staff and key stakeholders is a major key to the success of this role.  Candidates should also be proficient in Microsoft Office applications with demonstrated experience in Excel/spreadsheet management.
A minimum of five (5) years of experience in a business or trade association, a background in communications, project management, or membership/marketing areas preferred.  A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communication, or Marketing or equivalent in experience and education desired.
