Medford, Massachusetts, Overview The Office of University Communications and Marketing (UCM) has overall responsibility for marketing and brand management, media relations and content, producing various print and web publications and communications for the university.  The office optimizes the coordination of strategies and programs for these areas. The Marketing and Branding group reports up to the VP of Communications and Marketing and produces a wide range of print and digital marketing – from event invitations to integrated marketing campaigns – across all schools and university-wide campaigns. The group comprises Marketing Strategy, Creative Services, and Digital Services and oversees the university’s marketing strategy, brand messaging, visual identity, and directs marketing and lead-generation campaigns to support awareness, enrollment, and fundraising efforts. What You’ll Do The Production Artist will support the design team to produce, update, and finalize graphics and design deliverables across channels (print, email, web, social, video) that reinforce the Tufts brand for partners throughout UCM and schools and departments across the university. Provide image research, sizing, color correction, and permissions support to design and marketing teams. Steward the Tufts University brand by responding to requests for stationery, lockup, and PowerPoint template requests.    Esentional Functions:   Create collateral such as direct mail, fact sheets, forms, flyers, and postcards for various schools and departments across the university. Expand and iterate upon existing design concepts to work across multiple channels (print, email, web, social, video). Fulfill requests for logo lockups, PowerPoint templates, and stationery. Update existing designs and finalize projects for delivery. Assist design and marketing teams with image research, sizing, and photo editing along with obtaining permission for use from image subjects.   What We’re Looking For Basic Requirements:   Associate’s degree or 1-2 years of relevant experience Good written and oral communications skills Strong attention to detail Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office (including Powerpoint)   Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree Design and production experience Not-for-profit or university setting experience An employee in this position must complete all appropriate background checks at the time of hire, promotion, or transfer.   Equal Opportunity Employer – minority/females/veterans/disability/sexual orientation/gender identity.
