The Marketing Technology Manager administers the firm’s marketing technology stack, researching and implementing new applications and methods to support the firm’s digital marketing and business development activities, and helping to maintain compliance with data privacy requirements. This person works reports to the Director of Marketing and Brand Strategy, serves as the liaison between the marketing department and the firm’s information technology department, and manages contracts and ongoing relationships with technology vendors. The Marketing Technology Manager collaborates with members of the marketing department and others throughout the firm, but assumes primary responsibility for critical technology platforms, including the firm’s websites and blogs, e-marketing and marketing automation systems, experience management platform, and webinar and virtual event platforms, among other technologies. They report on success of e-marketing campaigns, website performance, and internal use of services. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 
• Administer the marketing technology stack, including gap analysis, solution selection, implementation management, training, and governance • Manage the firm’s websites, e marketing and marketing automation platform, client/enterprise relationship management system, experience management  platform, webinar and virtual event platforms, and other marketing technologies • Create key metrics and analytics to track effectiveness of digital marketing, social media, and external communication campaigns • Lead governance, promotion, and adoption of marketing tools, including developing and maintaining training documentation • Partner with marketing/business development, IT, attorneys, and business operation teams to align organizational goals with technology solutions • Audit and prepare reports on the marketing technology stack to identify KPIs, gaps, and potential enhancements • Work with the IT department to ensure proper integration and security of marketing tools and projects • Assist the firm’s subsidiaries and affiliated business ventures as necessary • Work with the firm’s General Counsel and privacy team to comply with data privacy laws/acts • Negotiate contracts and oversee marketing technology budget • Oversee and manage relationships with technology vendors • Keep abreast of changing technology, processes, and standards within the industry
 
Education, Training, and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or Computer Science-related field • Minimum of 5 years related experience; previous law firm experience a plus • High-level understanding of digital marketing and communications best practices • Familiarity with HTML and manipulation of graphics • Experience with website content management systems • Proficiency with e-marketing and marketing automation platforms; Marketo experience a plus • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel • Proficiency in web analytics tools/SEO, including Google Analytics
• Strong initiative and proactive approach to project management; PMP a plus • Confident, accurate communication, whether oral or written • Perform essential functions of the position with or without a reasonable accommodation
 
Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19, including boosters (i.e., at least 2 weeks after last dose) and, if hired, present proof of vaccination by start date.
