Real estate experience is preferred. Some travel will be required, there are 6 offices within the division. JOB SUMMARY The Marketing Specialist works with our 6 divisional offices to recommend and implement strategies to achieve marketing goals for assigned products and services for one or more areas, product lines, or market segments. Responsible for preparing proposal, presentation, and communication materials, as well as other administrative duties. Interfaces directly with brokers to gain insight and knowledge about clients and projects and uses that knowledge gained to craft differentiating content and written proposal sections including, but not limited to, executive summaries, case studies, etc. Coordinates the distribution of internal and external marketing information. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Works directly with marketing director, marketing managers, and graphic designers to prepare custom proposal materials, including writing, editing, verifying and formatting proposal information. Ensures schedules are met and the various aspects of proposals, presentations, and other marketing activities are accurate and concisely delivered in a timely manner. Creates a wide variety of templated, company-sanctioned marketing materials that may include maps, advertisements, demographic reports and executive summary brochures for in-house and client presentations using advanced desktop, graphic, and mapping software. Writes and reviews internal and external collateral materials, proofreads content, ensures appropriate branding and approves materials for final distribution. Assists in the coordination and implementation of marketing strategies and performs research and analysis to support those strategies. Assists local office leadership in preparing various marketing materials as needed on an ad hoc basis. Maintains and updates marketing library of standard company boilerplate proposals, presentations, and other collateral materials. Provides marketing education and training on tools and resources, as well as technical assistance, to staff. Can-do attitude, flexible, and ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven atmosphere. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position. May provide informal assistance such as technical guidance and/or training to coworkers. May coordinate and assign tasks to coworkers within a work unit and/or project. EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from four-year college or university and a minimum of two years of related experience and/or training. CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES None. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to internal clients. Ability to effectively present information. FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE Requires basic knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages. REASONING ABILITY Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires intermediate analytical and quantitative skills. OTHER SKILLS and/or ABILITIES Ability to work in InDesign, other Adobe Creative Suite Programs and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to learn web publishing platform. SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY Decisions made with understanding of procedures and company policies to achieve set results and deadlines. Responsible for setting own project deadlines.
