The Executive Education (EE) Marketing Department at the Stanford Graduate School of Business has recently undergone an exciting transformation and seeks a Marketing Manager to join this new team! This Marketing Manager is responsible for ideating and launching brand awareness and direct response campaigns to promote Stanford’s portfolio of product offerings (domestically and globally). This team has ownership and jurisdiction over paid and owned channels. The ideal candidate should have a bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of relevant experience working across multiple marketing channels. In this role, you will have the opportunity to connect global professionals with Stanford EE 50+ programs that will enable them to learn, grow and impact change. This is a full-time (40 hours per week) position where work will be performed with the expectation of being onsite (at Stanford’s magical campus) and in a hybrid setting of at least 2 days per week. Primary Responsibilities: Create robust marketing plans. This includes overall strategy/objective, media mix, channel mix, creative briefs, current trends in market, new ad modules/abilities, and testing. Ability to make data-driven decisions. This includes comfortability in working with reporting platforms, excel and conducting data analysis. Use past data to inform current and future decisions and extract insights. Develop Brand Awareness campaign. This includes a deeper understanding of the target market, personas and why Stanford EE should matter to them across a variety of channels. Develop Direct Response campaigns. This includes planning and launching ad creative, marketing landing pages, tracking, testing and target audiences. Manage project/program budget(s) and coordinate invoice processing. Process and Solutions-Oriented. This includes identifying processes that do not exist today and working with internal and external stakeholders to align and create. Oversee design and production of marketing materials from inception to deployment. Manage vendors on specific projects. Maintain the legacy of excellence Stanford’s brand represents in the market today. Specific tasks include but are not limited to: Aligning marketing objectives to channel strategy Project and process management Creative briefs and kick-offs Implementation and execution of campaigns Analysis of campaign data Post mortem recaps / business stand-ups to share out on performance and learnings. Assess market opportunities and track market trends. Recommend marketing improvements based on findings. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the organization. To be successful in this position, you will bring: Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of relevant experience, or a combination of education and relevant experience. Excellent written and oral communication. Ability to work cross-functionally, adapt to change and develop positive relationships with stakeholders. Embody a growth-mindset. Demonstrated experience managing projects, including planning, scheduling, tracking, and budgeting. Understands how to implement integrated marketing programs across channels. Demonstrated problem solver with strong critical thinking skills. Strong understanding of conversion best practices, benchmarks, and be able to implement changes to improve our practices as needed. Strong analytical skills. Comfort with technology and data management. Systems knowledge: CRM, Marketing Cloud, Sales Cloud, Tableau, Excel, Google Suite, and FB Business Manager.
