Nationwide, Be #gablesproud of where you work and become part of our team by applying for your new career with Gables TODAY! *This position may be based in Dallas, Atlanta, Houston or Washington DC based on candidate preference* The Marketing Communications Manager provides leadership in the areas of marketing communications, general marketing support to all divisions within the company, regional support to the communities and RMs in designated regions, event planning as well as administrative support to the VP of Marketing and Operations Managers/VPs in the Atlanta office. Strong attention to detail, leadership skills, strong communication skills, project management and execution, professionalism, and a creative mind are required. CM Meeting agenda coordination with VP Ops Collaborate in the creative process with the direction of VP, National Director of Marketing, including the Graphics Manager Create, implement and maintain 3rd party client Touchpoints program Produce presentations, data analysis specific to projects and organizational charts Provide graphics support across all departments working with Graphics Manager Drive Gables Specialty Agent Program with Level One for Gables customization including training, quarterly marketing communications and data review for opportunities for improvement Research, gathering and copywriting pertinent to all corporate award submittals. Source award opportunities and maintain awards chart Write and distribute Gables Gazette Write and distribute Gables GR8 News Plan and coordinate company meetings and events Make travel arrangements, coordinate event registrations, and create expense reports for VP Marketing and VP 3rd Party Business Development Source and develop retail participants for Good as Gold Program Manage assigned lease-ups from beginning to end Kingsley Survey program communications Special projects and other tasks or duties as assigned by supervisor not limited to but including Customer Service initiatives Maintain an excellent customer service relationship with associates, residents, and vendors by adhering to the Gables Pledges of Customer Service Adhere to the Gables Standard Operating Procedures To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty well. Education A Bachelor’s Degree with a focus on marketing, public relations, or hospitality is strongly preferred, minimum of high school degree is required. Position requires the ability to read and write English fluently. Professional Experience Three to five years’ experience in a marketing coordinator, administrative, or similar role is required. Previous property management experience is preferred, but not required. Attendance/Travel Requirements The position requires the ability to work five days of the week, usually 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, but flexible if overtime is required. Minimal or no travel is required. Licenses/Equipment A valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance is required. Position requires individuals to furnish their own vehicle to fulfill all of the job’s functions.
