Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Reports to: Director of Marketing Department: Digital Strategy & Innovation Status:  Exempt The Marketing Manager, Content  reports to the Director, Marketing and is responsible for the daily execution and maintenance of Curtis’s email marketing, social media, advertising campaigns, and website content to support several strategic goals: to sustain growth and success of our students; to raise the profile of the school in Philadelphia and beyond; to position Curtis as an essential community resource for Philadelphia; to help diversify, expand, and strengthen the Curtis community; and to support a stable financial foundation on which to build the next 100 years of world-class education and artistry.    Measurable outcomes include increased engagement with prospective students, online audiences, and existing and new program participants.     Essential Functions: Responsible for daily social media management Collaborates across the organization to maintain a robust social media plan that supports Curtis’s strategic goals Leverages owned media, advertising, SEO, and other digital means to achieve various brand building, enrollment, fundraising, programming, and ticket sales goals for Curtis   Understands and advocates for diverse constituent groups   Collaborates on the development of a seasonal marketing campaign calendar for key paid and free performances that comprise the Curtis performance season. A typical performance season includes: Paid performances (Curtis Symphony Orchestra, Curtis Opera Theatre, Curtis Presents, Family Concerts, and Ensemble 20/21) Free performances (Recital Series, community performances) Summer programming Self-presented Curtis on Tour performances Helps design and implement plans to market admissions opportunities Works cross-departmentally to develop and support digital marketing efforts for educational programming, such as the Performance Innovation Lab Maintain performance and calendar pages on the Curtis website and liaise effectively with other departments to keep all performance information accurate and current Communicates and monitors marketing priorities on shared Airtable media scheduling software Oversees maintenance of and training for Curtis’s Website CMS Project manages advertisements (third party graphic designers, contracts, deadlines, collateral, etc.), as appropriate, primarily digital but includes limited radio, outdoor, and print Assists with formatting and optimizing delivery of marketing assets including photography and videos Tracks and analyzes social media and digital advertising efforts and results to inform transparent, data-driven strategies Flexibility to attend performances for social media content Other duties as assigned Qualifications & Skills: Minimum of 3 years of experience in digital marketing   Broad working knowledge of classical music   Demonstrated success managing social media campaigns   Ability to communicate effectively via digital channels   Balance between attention to detail and quick production pace   Familiarity with interpreting marketing data analytics   Creative thinker and enthusiastic team player   Previous work in higher education or the performing arts, especially classical music, industries desired   Comfort with basic video editing a plus   Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Google/YouTube Ads, Hootsuite, Airtable, WordPress, HubSpot or similar competitor software a plus   Required Core Values: The ideal candidate must exhibit: a positive, “can-do” attitude devotion and dedication to Curtis, its students, alumni, and parents passion for their work, and contribution to the field and greater good commitment and accountability for their work, and an ability to effect change desire and willingness to collaborate, think creatively, and make data-driven decisions respect, courtesy, and patience for colleagues, other staff, faculty, patrons, core constituents, and volunteers an eagerness to make Curtis a more diverse and inclusive institution   Working Conditions/Physical Demands: Routine for office environment
