As a member of a goal-oriented marketing team, the marketing manager collaborates with business unit leaders to transform business goals into marketing objectives, strategies and tactics. This includes drafting marketing plans, managing marketing budgets, and creating integrated marketing campaigns and programs to meet objectives. Project management is a key component of this role.
The Marketing Manager drives business outcomes using a variety of inbound and outbound marketing tactics including email marketing, SEO, PPC advertising, social media and PR/media relations. This role is responsible for writing marketing copy and works closely with the creative team to ensure campaigns and collateral are brand compliant.
This is a full-time position and is based in Chicago, Illinois (Hybrid).
Essential Functions and Responsibilities

Create & execute marketing and campaign plans: Draft marketing plans and budgets. Identify and execute marketing objectives, strategies and tactics that will achieve business goals. Communicate status, results and any adjustments to campaigns and plans to leadership on an ongoing basis.
Writing marketing copy: Craft marketing messages for a variety of communication vehicles with compelling calls to action that build relationships with members and customers. Draft content and work with creative team to produce campaign assets.
Manage relationships between cross-functional teams: Provide proactive support to help product owners achieve unit sales and financial goals. Act as the liaison between product owners and design, IT and other service teams to ensure all project deliverables are completed on time and on budget. 
Measure results: Create and update scorecards and/or dashboards that track results of activities and ROMI (return on marketing investment).
Collaborate with colleagues: Actively participate at marketing team meetings by sharing ideas and knowledge. Work collaboratively with colleagues from other areas of the business on cross-functional projects.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in marketing or related discipline.
Must have 3-7 years of marketing experience.
Strong writing and communications skills with proofreading and editing ability.
Demonstrated project management experience with superior organization skills.

Desired Qualifications

Experience with marketing automation platform(s) (Marketo experience desired, but not required).
