POSITION OVERVIEW
The marketing coordinator position provides transaction, marketing, and administrative support to commercial real estate brokers.. This role executes the corporate marketing strategy and initiatives locally while providing insight to corporate marketing on how these strategies are best refined for optimum local execution. The overall goal of this position is to provide the best transaction, marketing, business development, and administrative support in our industry while enhancing the SRS brand.
The successful candidate in this position will play a critical role in the support of SRS’ industry-leading retail real estate brokers and the presence of the SRS brand in the local market. This role requires a customer-service-focused attitude and offers a well-rounded marketing position with opportunities for growing knowledge and experience in all facets of marketing, business development, and commercial real estate. This position is primarily supported by the corporate marketing team which provides access to the best marketing software, tools, and templates in the industry as well as ongoing training.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Transaction, Marketing, & Business Development Support

Ensure all communications, presentations, and collaterals enhance the SRS brand and are in line with the brand guidelines and precedents set by the corporate marketing team
Create printed and digital marketing packages, tour books, and presentations for property listings, growing retailer clients, and business development pitches
Create and deploy email blasts for property listings, growing retailer clients, newsletters, and other announcements as needed
Create and maintain property listings, client information, and team member bios as needed on SRSRE.COM, CoStar, LoopNet, and potentially other third-party websites
Maintain, update, and segment contact databases, email distribution lists, and party invitation lists
Assist research analyst with market aerial map creation as well as demographic and traffic count research as needed
Prepare documents related to transactions, which may include letters of intent, commission agreements, contract forms, and reporting spreadsheets
Assist brokers in managing transaction activity related to leases, acquisitions, and dispositions
Utilize Apto (Salesforce-based business management software) to assist brokers in tracking the progress of their business development pursuits
Assist in aspects of computer usage related to marketing including email signatures, styling documents according to SRS brand standards, and printing

Administrative Support

Assist in scheduling tradeshow meetings, managing broker calendars, and conference room bookings
Assist with couriers, contractors, and mail delivery as needed
Assist with local implementation of any personnel on-boarding and off-boarding needs
Assist with expense reports and travel arrangements as needed
Assist with answering main phone line
Maintain personal time card
Any other administrative functions that may come up for the office

Vendor Management

Coordinate property sign creation, install, and removal

Communications, Public Relations, Social Media and Events

Create transaction-related press releases and deploy to local media
Revise new hire and promotion press releases created by corporate marketing for local media distribution
Work with local team members to submit market/industry award applications for local office and brokers
Stay abreast of speaking opportunities to better position the local team as leaders in the industry
Assist in event planning for regional trade shows or nearby corporate events
Assist brokers with enhancing and maintaining their professional presence on LinkedIn
If applicable, manage local office social media accounts by maintaining brand standards, distributing relevant content regularly, and increasing followers

QUALIFICATIONS

Team player and customer-service-focused attitude
Strong attention to detail with excellent grammar as well as organizational, project management, and communication skills
Must be willing and able to wear multiple hats, manage multiple projects, and prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines
Intermediate to advanced Adobe InDesign and Photoshop skills are required; Adobe Illustrator is a plus
Commercial real estate experience preferred
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in marketing, communications, advertising, or public relations
Strong Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel skills
Salesforce experience is preferred
Email marketing, public relations, social media, database management, and event coordination experience preferred
