The Marketing Coordinator for the Moss Arts Center supports efforts related to successfully promoting the center and its initiatives, events, and activities. Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Communication, this position coordinates marketing and advertising programs and partnerships; coordinates marketing projects to ensure they are requested, tracked, and completed on time, organizes the center’s presence at public events and; and assists the Director with the management of marketing budget and fiscal matters. The Marketing Coordinator is expected to demonstrate a high level of personal responsibility and attention to detail, be a proactive and strategic thinker, retain sensitive information with strict confidence, and be motivated to remain current on marketing trends and tactics. Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, communication, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience representing an organization to the public
Experience managing special events, including planning and staffing
Demonstrated success as an effective collaborator and problem-solver in a team environment
Demonstrated professional communication and interpersonal skills
Willingness and availability to work evening and weekend hours
Demonstrated proficiency with computer applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook as well as project management systems
Detail oriented and experienced managing projects

Preferred Qualifications

Professional experience at an arts presenting organization
Professional experience at a major presenting organization within an institution of higher education
Hands-on experience with university and state policies and procedures
Experience planning digital and print advertising campaigns
Experience reconciling invoices, expenses, and budgets
Understanding of metrics related to websites and ad performance
Experience with media buying including digital, broadcast, print, direct mail, and environmental
