The Marketing Associate will assist with the planning, design, implementation, and evaluation of the marketing strategies, campaigns and initiatives related to international, large-scale, high-stakes English language examinations. This position supports the planning of marketing strategies (including direct to consumer channels), coordination of marketing efforts related to our brand and products, planning and implementation of social media and other digital marketing efforts, copywriting and proofreading of marketing materials, data analysis, and content management. Plan, design, coordinate, and implement social media and digital marketing communications for global markets in collaboration with the business development team and in response to changes in market demand. Coordinate the development of content for multimedia channels. Develop, write, copy edit and coordinate approval of content for print and digital communications (i.e., newsletters, brochures, website, and social media platforms), ensuring that new and existing marketing collateral meets marketing, branding and quality requirements. Participate in the development, implementation, and evaluation of marketing and communication strategies, processes, and procedures to support the organization’s strategic objectives. Compile market research and analyze market trends to make recommendations on the organization’s marketing and promotional needs in alignment with approved budgets. Support the implementation of marketing strategies through serving as the liaison for communications and general administration support between business development managers, test centers, marketing vendors, external consultants, and event and public relation activities. Compile and evaluate marketing analytics from all multimedia platforms and make recommendations for improvements that increase the impact of marketing communications and campaigns. Other contributions commensurate with level and experience as required (providing general administrative or project support). Bachelor’s degree Excellent oral and written communication skills High-level aptitude using computers and learning software Ability to work well both independently and as a member of a team Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Suite applications Strong organizational skills Ability to think creatively Attention to detail, with an ability to manage competing demands Ability to copy edit and proofread communications Experience (minimum 2 years preferred) with digital marketing and social media responsibilities including content development and managing postings in a professional setting Experience with a variety of marketing responsibilities and projects as well as public-facing activities Experience with marketing analytics data collection and analysis, and proven ability to make recommendations and implement improvements Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or Journalism Ability to write copy for publications as news stories, marketing materials, and social media with a focus in academic contexts Proficiency with CRM’s, marketing management and scheduling software, including Google Analytics and website management Experience creating new content and adapting one piece to several channels and audiences Familiarity with Adobe applications – InDesign and/or Illustrator Fluency i n Spanish or Portuguese Excellent cross-cultural skills Extensive experience in the full cycle of completing marketing-related projects, specifically for business to consumer channels Experience with international marketing projects Experience coordinating and managing in-person and virtual events (conferences and exhibitor responsibilities) for global audiences For additional information, please visit our website at https://michiganassessment.org/ Job openings are posted for a minimum of seven calendar days.
