Who You Are The Marketing Assistant and Events Coordinator will assist in the coordination, management and development of marketing events & initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills and provide support for events including planning and logistics. You will coordinate with suppliers and communicate with volunteers and sponsors to ensure successful execution of business events. The ideal individual is an enthusiastic, collaborative, and well-rounded professional with a proven track record of successfully managing events and activities planning and execution, working effectively with with varying level stakeholders. The successful candidate actively values a flexible, people-centric work environment. Your Role Planning, implementation and follow up of all events, from conceptualization to its completion. Assists with development and execution of various marketing activities and events, by organizing and prepping all promotional gear. Manages and develops vendor relationships to provide cost effective and on time delivery of promotional, educational, and clerical materials. Coordinating with the branch to maintain appropriate inventory levels of marketing materials at all branch locations. Maintains up to date and informative content on internal channels by planning of posts and updating internal documents. Collaborates with IT on design and function, and HR for employee announcements. Contributes to team atmosphere by enthusiastic participation in bank activities. Experience and Skills Your Knowledge and Experience Associates degree or bachelor’s degree preferred in Marketing or related field or equivalent work experience. Experience with coordinating and facilitating events. Proficient in use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Strong organizational and project management skills. Ability to work independently and thrive in multi-tasking, multi-faceted environment. Excellent writing and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of bank staff and clients. Demonstrated professional customer service, both in person and on the telephone. Ability to work evenings and weekends and must have own transportation.
