Denver, Colorado, JOB SUMMARY:
The graduate assistant position will be involved in all areas of the department’s external relations with a focus on marketing and game presentation. The position will include, but will not be limited to all aspects of the external relations department. The graduate assistant will be expected to attend all home athletic events, selected campus events, and selected off campus events. Other tasks and duties in support of the athletic department will be assigned by the Assistant Athletic Director of External Relations.

MAJOR DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Game presentation elements including digital assets and script writing for all ticket sports
2) Managing and hiring game day student workers
3) Sponsorship fulfillment
4) Learning and teaching the Regis ticketing system
5) On campus marketing efforts
6) Managing and coordinating Concessions operations
7) Planning all aspect of the annual golf outing
8) Other Duties and roles as assigned by the senior athletics staff MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree, from an accredited institution of higher education.
Acceptance into a Regis University graduate program in accordance with all of Regis University’s rules and regulations
Preferred: Valid US Driver’s license.
Must have proven written and oral communications skills and the ability to talk with multiple groups of people and remain professional at all times.
Some level of experience working within a athletic department is preferred
Candidates should possess strong writing/editing skills, attention to detail and a willingness to work hard and learn.
They will have to be able to multi-task in a setting with frequent interruptions.
Prior experience with Photoshop and InDesign a plus, as well as prior experience in a college athletic department setting, is highly preferred.

Working conditions will require both office and gameday event work. Will frequent weekend and/or evening work. Some local, regional, and/or national travel may be required but will be supported by the athletic department
Other Requirements: The ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs at a time The graduate assistant position is a two year assignment starting Fall 2022. Contingent upon acceptance to a graduate program this scholarship will be $15,000 for each academic year. Review of applicants will begin immediately and continue until position is filled. Consideration for the position is contingent upon successful admission to a Regis University’s master’s program. Interested candidates are encouraged to begin the admissions application immediately.
