Role description and opportunities The Enterprise Growth Marketing & Communications Director will help to transform how the bank is positioned and perceived in global financial markets. The Director will take a leadership role to strategically and systematically build out the bank’s thought leadership through both in-house proprietary means and third-party platforms. He/she will establish a results-driven marketing and communications strategy that reinforces global client targets and partner closely with senior leaders to drive BNY Mellon’s key strategic messages. Key Responsibilities: Establish best-in-class approaches to enable the bank to more proactively tell its story to key audiences and engage key stakeholders Develop and execute a marketing and communications strategy for how the bank aggregates and accelerates its thought-leadership efforts Define how to engage stakeholders and be positioned externally, aligning to the needs and strategies of various lines of business and client management Develop and lead a cohesive strategy for leveraging third-party partnerships Ensure alignment with the overall communications and ESG strategy of the bank, and promote the successful participation of key executives in the activities of these platforms Partner with third-party PR agencies and the bank’s EMEA-based communications team to operationalize the company’s agenda Lead on strategic marketing and communications for targeted markets in EMEA; represent the bank for key milestones and announcements Maintains collaborative relationships with senior business stakeholders and external partners to align activities to key strategic objectives Qualifications: ??? 12-15 years of years of progressive experience in high-growth environments ??? Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast paced, results-driven, team-oriented environment and ability to navigate and excel in a global model ??? Experience in leading and motivating teams while collaborating in a matrixed organization ??? Executive presence and experience managing teams and influencing stakeholders ??? Agile approach to growth marketing and the ability to work through ambiguity ??? Overall track record of professional and academic success ??? Bachelor’s degree and equivalent work experience required
