Buffalo, New York, Position Title: Marketing and Communications Coordinator, SEAS Marketing, Communications and Outreach Posting Number: P220256 Employer: State Salary Range: $44,374 – $47,500 FTE: 1.00 Position Summary: The University at Buffalo School of Engineering and Applied Sciences ( SEAS ) is seeking a creative and motivated professional to create, share and measure engaging content across multiple platforms. The Marketing and Communications Coordinator will collaborate with the Director and Associate Directors of Communications to build and execute marketing plans with key SEAS constituents, including students, faculty, staff, alumni, donors and industry partners. They will be a vital team member in a highly collaborative and creative environment, dedicated to telling great stories, creating flexible content and driving engagement to promote the SEAS disciplinary excellence initiatives aimed at increasing the school’s ranking, reputation, recruiting, and enrollment. As the Marketing and Communications Coordinator, you will be responsible for creating and developing accessible and on-brand marketing materials. The ideal candidate will have a mix of creative skills and a love of storytelling. Specific duties may include: Generate content for print and digital advertisements such as news articles, magazine articles, press releases, flyers, postcards, event collateral and promotional items among other communications pieces Create, manage and update content for SEAS websites and event landing pages using UB’s Content Management System ( CMS ) Assist in email marketing campaigns and event support, from design to post-campaign evaluation Develop multimedia content including graphics, video and photography to capture the cutting-edge research and scholarly outreach of our key constituents Provide support and post content on SEAS social media channels Process requests for marketing and communications service Outstanding Benefits Package Working at UB comes with benefits that exceed salary alone.
