Job Description Summary: Determines the demand for products and services offered by the organization by managing marketing programs and research and analyses. May be responsible for a market segment including development, marketing research and analyses, pricing and advertising. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree/equivalent in business, finance, marketing or other directly related discipline. Five (5) years directly related experience in planning and analyses. Demonstrated computer skills. Strong basic management, human relations, communication and analytical skills. More advanced degrees may offset experience requirements. A related Master’s Degree equals two years experience. Job Specific Information: The successful candidate will utilize leadership, business acumen and tested project management skills, to lead a team focused on maximizing the return of our sponsorship portfolio. This position requires the successful candidate to possess exceptional communication and presentation skills. The successful candidate will be a strong collaborator and have a vested interest in helping business partners to achieve their goals and objectives. The successful candidate must have good interpersonal skills and strong executive presence to be able to interact with stakeholders at every level within the organization, including officers and senior officers, across several functional areas in all operating companies. The successful candidate will have experience in agency management and negotiation. This position requires a highly motivated individual with a proven track record of leadership and coaching and developing people. The successful candidate will have a strong knowledge of policy and procedure, audit and financial controls. Develop and implement sponsorship strategies as well as programs designed to increase product/service awareness, customer loyalty and revenue for the company. Develop, refine, and implement metrics to measure success. Establish sponsorship benchmarking within USA and Internationally. Work with aligned groups to execute programs to achieve business objectives. Ability to gather, interpret and integrate customer needs, competitive analysis, product analysis, market research, and financial data into coordinated marketing strategies and plans. Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams. Skills/Knowledge/Experience Considered a Plus: FedEx Management Experience a plus. Marketing and project management experience. Demonstrated analytical skills and experience applying measurement to make future decisions. Experience in or solid understanding of sponsorship marketing and the role it plays in our marketing, advertising and communications planning. Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills. Demonstrated ability to build and to maintain strong internal relationships with cross-functional stakeholders, including executive management and strong external relationships with properties, agencies and other sponsors. Domicile/Relocation: This position can be domiciled anywhere in the United States. The ability to work remote within the United States may be available based on business need.
