The ideal candidate will be an experienced marketing professional who possesses a strategic mindset with a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with sales executives, pursuit executives, account executives, and other individuals at all levels of a matrixed organization to execute integrated marketing campaigns that help position Deloitte to grow and win business in the highly competitive government and public services marketplace. Experience working on large complex marketing campaigns and strategy. Work you’ll do: The Government and Public Services (GPS) Marketing Manager will establish the methodology and strategy for how we go to market and structure omni-channel marketing campaigns targeting key government and public services buyer personas. This role will collaborate closely with the GPS leaders and the Pursuit Center of Excellence to understand the pursuit strategy and to develop an integrated marketing strategy to acquire and engage key government and public services buyers and grow revenue. Specific competencies for this role include: Marketing & Communications Fundamentals: Experienced understanding of marketing and communications practices and technology to drive business goals. Able to take a holistic view across GPS portfolios to curate relevant content and experiences for targeted buyers and audiences Project Management and Campaign Activation : Lead in the development, maintenance, and execution of integrated marketing campaigns spanning events, digital channels, social media, email marketing, and video/written content Business Advisor: Serve as strategic marketing advisor to key stakeholders within the GPS market – assist with articulation of value propositions, develop marketing objectives in support of key priorities Writing: Comfort with drafting different types of content spanning POVs, client success stories, video scripts/story boards Content Development: Develop and edit content and collateral material and refreshing website content for consistent messaging and clear voice Social Media: Creation and implementation of comprehensive social media plans for organic and paid social campaigns Digital Marketing: Experience in digital marketing concepts spanning SEO, website development and design concepts Impact Reporting: Gathers ROI data and inputs data into standard reports, focusing on data accuracy, storytelling, outcomes, etc. Project Management: Able to manage multiple projects and collaborate across multiple teams simultaneously Vendor Management: Able to source and manage vendor relationships as needed to complete deliverables Budget Management: Plan and manage marketing budgets for campaigns Qualifications 3+ years working with government and public services clients Experience developing strategies for reaching a diverse audience of leadership personas in the government and public services space Ability to effectively communicate with account leaders, proposal leaders, proposal authors, and Business Development personnel Experience with content marketing techniques, including audience segmentation, search engine optimization (SEO), and persona-based campaigns Experience with marketing technology and innovation to drive and enhance campaign deliverables Experience with product marketing concepts and techniques Strong executive presence, professional client service manner, and demonstrated ability to take initiative, confident Creative mindset with passion and drive to foster innovation in marketing and communications.
