Email Marketing Manager | ICSC

This position will begin as 100% remote, but will transition to hybrid, in office upon the New York City office reopening.on April 5, 2022.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:

Manage the strategy and execution of email campaigns to support events annually and drive increased participation by attendees, exhibitors and sponsors
Manage a variety of member email campaigns including acquisition, welcome, engagement, nurture, renewal, lapsed/win-back
Develop email performance goals, build out reports and dashboards, defining key metrics and regularly measuring and analyzing results
Develop trigger email campaigns based on website activity
Create targeted email campaigns with dynamic content
Develop and execute A/B testing for key components such as subject lines, timing/frequency, creative, segmentation, and analyze results to continually improve engagement
Analyze the customer database to create segmentation strategies and optimal targeting for all touch points
Manage the editing of email content and assist in copy creation
Optimize email template designs to build in creativity with email best practices in mind

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business or related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in email marketing, database marketing, acquisition marketing or related field
Experience working in marketing software including ESPs, CRM systems, and reporting tools such as Marketo, Salesforce MC/Pardot, Eloqua, Responsys, Microsoft Dynamics, Heap Analytics, Heap, PowerBI, Google Analytics
Proficient in HTML and/or blocks, CSS experience is a plus
Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to drive decision-making
Extensive knowledge of email marketing best practices incorporating deliverability and compliance with CAN-SPAM, CASL and GDPR regulations
Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
Experience working in Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
