Director of Marketing – Marketing & Promotions | University Athletic Association, Inc. at the University of Florida

Gainesville, Florida, The University Athletic Association is seeking a Director of Marketing who will serve as the primary marketing contact for Florida Football. Responsibilities include creating comprehensive marketing plans for Florida Football including ticket sales initiatives, driving attendance, enhancing the fan experience, sponsor activations, and brand awareness campaigns. The Director will also serve as the primary marketing contact for the Cross Country and Track & Field programs, and fulfill other duties as assigned.
This posting will remain open until a qualified candidate is chosen. MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Management, Marketing or a related field
Three years of experience working in an intercollegiate or professional athletics environment
One year of supervisory experience
One year of working experience leading a football marketing team at the NCAA Division I level
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Photoshop
Ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Ability to engage effectively with others of diverse cultures or backgrounds
Ability to work a non-standard work week which will include evenings, weekends, holidays and potential overnight travel

Preferred Qualifications:

Two years of supervisory experience
Three years of sports marketing experience in an intercollegiate or professional athletics environment
Effective communication (written, verbal, interpersonal), problem-solving, and customer service skills
Experience with project management and social media
Knowledge of SEC and NCAA rules and regulations
