Knoxville, Tennessee, BASIC PURPOSE OF THE JOB Responsible for directing and managing all internal and external communications with Media, ETCH employees and supporters, to include hospital publications, annual reports and internal newsletters. Works closely with hospital senior leadership in directing the creation, implementation, and evaluation of marketing programs to evoke desired behaviors among numerous types of hospital audiences. Responsible for creation of annual strategic marketing plan. JOB REQUIREMENTS Minimum Education Bachelors Required Minimum Work Experience Prefer a minimum of 7 – 10 years of experience in marketing, communication and public relations, preferably in healthcare. Required Licenses/Certifications for position No Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Demonstrated organizational, management, administrative and human relations skills. Knowledge of all aspects of developing and maintaining marketing and communications strategies to meet organizational objectives. Strong knowledge and skill of working with and managing the mediaAC/a!aC/s message. Proficient in social media, computer software of the industry and best practice in branding an image. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Note: Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position. Medium lifting, pushing and pulling is required for 20-50 lbs occasionally, 10-20 lbs frequently and 10 lbs constantly to move objects. Sudden emergency situations have the potential for exposure to lifting or moving of up to 100 lbs. Frequent bending, walking, sitting, squatting, reaching and standing are required. Keyboard/computer use and/or repetitive motions may be required.
