, Job Description The Americas Marketing Director will build and lead winning regional strategies and programs that deliver value to our customers, prospects and partners and drive measurable value to our business. The ideal candidate is a highly collaborative, strategic and results-driven leader who has strong experience in developing and executing marketing strategies and programs (specifically for high value services and software). Reporting directly to the Americas Regional President and indirectly with strong accountability to the VP Global Marketing, this individual will manage the regional marketing team and work collaboratively with Regional Sales and the rest of Marketing with a focus on regional insights, strategy and execution of regional industry and portfolio demand generation to meet regional sales targets. Duties and Responsibilities Insights & Strategy : Devise the methodology and lead the development and evolution of the Americas annual and 5-year Business Strategy Review program. Gather, understand and integrated deep regional market and competitive position, target market needs, geographic context, customer insights and technology trends in support of global and regional strategies, solution roadmaps and marketing programs Team closely with the Global Industry Strategy team to develop the global industry strategies to drive above-market growth. Be responsible for executing global industry strategies and programs in the Americas. Develop and execute region-only priority strategies as appropriate. Planning : Collaborate and partner with core marketing planning process by contributing and representing the needs and “voice” of the region. Localize core/global industry & portfolio plans for regional execution and target delivery. Clearly communicate the plan and expected goals / results to all stakeholders to ensure buy-in. Program Execution : Plan and execute regional plans, programs, campaigns, and new product/offering introductions to accelerate sales and maximize ROI in region to deliver on regional sales targets. Ensure alignment with global and regional strategy and budget and leverage the Marketing Centers of Excellence (COEs). Delegate and manage programs in a coordinated fashion across multiple countries in region. Demonstrate attention to detail, driving accountability for results in executing a variety of regional and local marketing initiatives Accelerate Leads to Opportunities to Revenue : Partner closely with the Demand Marketing COE to ensure global programs are aligned to regional needs to drive new opportunities into the Americas funnel for direct sales and channel/partner execution. Proactively engage with NA Inside Sales, Americas Commercial Operations and Regional Sales teams to ensure Sales accountability to rapidly and thoroughly convert Marketing-sourced leads to opportunities and to revenue. Focus on Results : Understand the company & region’s sales goals and team to create the regional marketing plan with metrics (marketing qualified leads, conversions, sales qualified leads with an eye on tracking results etc.) for each sub-region that will meet or exceed the sales goals for marketing-sourced revenue. Team with Global Marketing to regularly forecast, measure, analyze and report on impact of programs with the goal to provide visibility & insights to strengthen strategies. Leadership Build and manage a team of high-performing regional marketers to create the global & regional plans, set targets and budgets, monitor execution and course-correct when needed, and manage risk and rewards. Motivate & empower team for peak performance and develop them to grow their responsibilities and career. Attract and recruit hi-caliber talent where necessary to bring in needed new expertise &/or to upgrade performance. Be a strong voice and advocate for the Marketing function and the power of Marketing in the regional leadership team and across the region Basic Qualification Degree or Equivalent Relevant Experience Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening Travel up to 25% Preferred Qualifications 12+ years of B2B industrial marketing in the Americas. Experience in develop and integrate marketing programs with the Partner Network (Distributor, System Integrators, OE). Strong experience in high value services (ie: cyber security, consulting) and software. Experience in the understanding of the Digital Customer Journey and integration with High Velocity Team as well Customer Success. Experience developing and executing Marketing plan pursuing as well achieving a ROI goal. Experience developing deep insights and winning strategies and creating integrated marketing programs and campaigns. Including experience in activating strategy through Field Marketing Experience working with global marketing and COEs to drive regional marketing efforts. Highly strategic, analytical, and results-focused leader Strong business acumen coupled with the ability to adapt to changing business conditions Team player who thrives in a fast-paced, matrix organization with a hands-on approach, can-do attitude, and creative use of limited resources Strong people management skills with the ability to manage, coach and motivate employees. Experience managing remote employees required. Excellent communication skills – ability to effectively communicate at all levels Fluent in English. Proficiency in Spanish &/or Portuguese is a plus. BA/ BS degree in science, engineering, marketing, business or equivalent. MBA strongly preferred. #LI-MC2 The base salary compensation range for this role in Colorado is $156,400-$195,500.
