UC’s annual budget tops $1.6 billion and its endowment totals $1.9 billion.   Job Overview Directs the development of multifaceted recruitment, marketing, and communications plans. Monitors, and provides quality control over all enrollment marketing and communications and maintains a full slate of admissions responsibilities. Essential Functions Provides creative leadership to design and execute strategic marketing and communications plans that engage, inform, and recruit key JD and LLM audiences. This includes researching market trends; developing new mechanisms to communicate with audiences (including sourcing new technologies, if needed), and collaboration with vendors and partners. Develops and executes e-mail, web-based, digital, and print marketing efforts (writing and editing copy, communication design, market/audience research, execution of campaigns). This includes monitoring, assessment, and benchmarking the performance and effectiveness of marketing and communications efforts using data analytics and recommendations for changes and usage of appropriate platforms (social media, websites, publications, etc.). Develops and manages content for JD and LLM email communication stream, web pages, print collateral, video productions, and related initiatives. Develops print and electronic communications strategies to raise awareness and promotion of the College of Law’s JD program within the University’s pre-professional advising and honors communities and cultivates external partnerships with prelaw advisors.  Assist in the development of and participate in activities related to public relations and recruitment of prospective JD students-both on and off-campus including counseling prospective and admitted students, travel to recruitment fairs and forums, and formal presentations as requested. Review, evaluate, and make initial admission recommendations on a significant portion of the applicant pool. If needed, attend Admission Committee meetings in absence of Assistant Dean. Manage the admissions enrollment database (Unite), digital communications (Microsoft Journeys), and the College of Law’s API in collaboration with the University’s CRM (Slate) team. Collaborate with CRM team to refine processes as necessary. Compile data for reports which may include market insights, budget planning, and data needed for various surveys as requested.  Special projects and other responsibilities as requested by the Assistant Dean of Admissions and Financial Aid. May provide direct and/or indirect supervision to exempt and non-exempt staff (i.e., hiring/firing, performance evaluations, disciplinary action, approve time off, etc.).  Perform related duties based on departmental need. Required Experience Seven (7) years of admissions experience. Including supervisory experience.
