The director will direct the development and execution website strategy for NYU Stern that effectively integrates with and leverages all of the other digital platforms at the school including social media, digital and email marketing to ensure a consistent brand image of Stern and all of its programs, departments and initiatives, including working with website contributors on content strategy and presentation. The Director will drive a strategy that will touch every stakeholder group by increasing the visibility of the NYU Stern brand to multiple audiences including prospective and current students, faculty, alumni, recruiters and media across all digital channels with an emphasis on the website. The position will also collaborate on other digital projects in the ecosystem as needed. Responsibilities The selected candidate will have a bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred) and 5+ years of professional experience in digital marketing, technology, web design, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience building and maintaining web sites using a content management system is required, knowledge of Drupal is a plus. Knowledge of web responsive design, accessibility standards, podcast, digital video technology, SEO, Google Analytics, and keyword advertising is also essential. Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript is also needed. The selected candidate will also have strong project management skills and proven ability to build strong relationships with internal clients.
