Chicago, Illinois, General Description: This position will generate strategies for enhancing the university brand awareness, increase the overall university visibility, and supporting enrollment efforts. Strategies may include email campaigns, direct mail, website marketing landing pages, SEO , social media, and paid digital campaigns. This role will also provide analytic reports on university web pages and email campaigns to stakeholders. Using analytics this position will give guidance to the marketing and content team on which web pages should be updated or created to implement a SEO strategy. The Director of Marketing and Analytics will also support efforts to enhance awareness with prospective students, and parents of prospective students by supporting the communication plans for both undergrad and graduate admission with the assistance of the Director of Content and the marketing managers. This position will also have five direct reports; three marketing managers, and two social media specialists. Department: Marketing and Communications Position Category: Full Time Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree — preferably in marketing, communications, analytics or related field is required, or the equivalent combination of education and work experience. Master’s degree preferred. Knowledge & Skills: Must have at least 5 years experience in marketing, advertising, enrollment campaigns, SEO , and analytics. Proficiency with office productivity software (Google Apps and Microsoft Office),     Google Analytics, social media and other digital ad buys, working knowledge of a marketing email platform, management experience, and project management skills are required.
