Jackson, Wyoming, Position Purpose: The Digital Marketing Coordinator is a critical member of the TSS Marcom Team overseeing marketing initiatives including email marketing, website, and digital paid media. The role also provides support for content curation and creation, to help achieve the development, growth and engagement of an external community in place-based education topics and trends. This position reports to the TSS Brand Manager.
Qualifications: • Excellent writing and communication skills • Experience in email marketing, website CMS, and social media channels and communities preferred • Strong CMS and social platform management skills (ie.Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, G-Suite, WordPress, etc.), and quick learner of new technology • Demonstrated ability to work independently to meet deadlines and promote programs through digital storytelling across multiple social media platforms • Experience in cross-organizational and multi-departmental collaboration and project management; abilit to adapt to diverse communications and working styles
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements: • Primarily based at Jackson Campus of Teton Science Schools with potential meetings/interactions/work on all campuses locations • Able to sit/stand at a desk for up to 8 hours • Housing available
Responsibilities: 50% Oversight of digital marketing channels (email marketing, website, digital ads) • Working in collaboration with Marcom Team, to support, curate and develop new content for TSS owned channels (webite, blogs, social media, email, etc.) • Manage quarterly and monhtly enewsletters and email marketing campaigns from content planning to delivery • Monitor website content and manage on-going web updates • Monitor owned digital channel engagement to gain audience trends; apply learnings to content development and A/B testing • Research and write copy for digital channels to support program marketing campaigns • Collect and capture photos, videos and written content to be distributed across marketing channels
30% Social Media Management & Communications Support • With Brand Manager, help develop and support org-wide and account specific social media strategy, plan and calendar. • Support social media campaigns and content amplification • Ensure team follows social media tactics per plan and content calendar • Monitor social media accounts and help manage community engagement • Assist in reviewing social media accounts for post engagement and performance • Assist in writing press releases • Provide on-site support for earned media initiatives as requested
15% Marcom Team Administrative Support • Represent TSS in community via events and other engagements • Support upkeep of TSS content calendar • Work independently to meet marcom goals and project deadlines • Provide content and creative project management support as needed
5% One TSS Responsibilities • Proactively and positively shares the TSS mission and program structure with external stakeholders. Cross markets TSS programs when opportunities arise. • Engages and collaborates across TSS program areas when possible. • Contribute to inclusive work and learning environments through continually developing cultural competency.
