Charleston, South Carolina, Will assist directly in the development and execution of marketing and communications strategies as well as provide administrative support for The Citadel Brigadier Foundation Athletic Development Team. This position is a key support position for TCBF and requires strong organizational and decision-making skills and an ability to work closely and effectively with a wide variety of individuals at all levels within the department. The person filling this position must have the ability to troubleshoot, make decisions, remain calm in high-stress situations, and solve problems in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment. This opportunity is uniquely designed to allow you to display marketing and communication strengths while also learning the fundamentals of development through day-to-day interactions with The Citadel donors. This position offers the ability to gain experience within all facets of athletics fundraising with opportunities to grow as a professional. GENERAL ADMINISTRATIVE DUTIES:

Provide administrative and logistical support to The Citadel Brigadier Foundation/Athletic Development team as the first point of contact for donor engagement requests via phone, email, and in person.
Work closely with the TCBF team and the Director of Marketing and Communications to enhance the vision and brand of TCBF through creative marketing, social media and communications related strategies.
Manage social media accounts and collaborate with The Citadel Athletic team to design graphics and content for a variety of platforms.
Manage the football Pearson Club Seat Holder renewals and gameday responsibilities at Johnson-Hagood Stadium.
Assist in the planning and execution of TCBFโ€™s stewardship and major fundraising events.
Prepare/design printed materials for marketing and advertising various fundraising efforts.
Assists with coordinating cultivation activities and solicitations with other Citadel representatives, including The Citadel Foundation and the athletic department.
Other duties as assigned


Baccalaureate degree or higher from an accredited institution of higher education
Team oriented
Demonstrated oral and written communication skills
Background in marketing and event planning
Graphic design capabilities
Organizational skills
Enthusiastic and reliable with the ability to handle the needs of a fast-paced office and the special needs of donors.

Familiarity with Hootsuite, Raiserโ€™s Edge, Mailchimp, and Adobe โ€“ Creative Suite
Prior experience working with/in high education athletics
