EXPERIENCE: 5+ years of recent, relevant experience, with a focus in healthcare marketing communications, editorial/content management and strategy SPECIAL SKILLS: In addition to exceptional creative and business writing skills, ability to demonstrate a strong aptitude for and some level of work experience around these key attributes: Project management: Ability to easily handle multiple tasks for a wide number of projects, many with multiple deadlines and multiple players. Healthcare knowledge: Able to comprehend essential information on complex topics across a wide range of medicine, administration and healthcare technology. Understands the hospital/healthcare environment and its multiple audiences. Marketing knowledge: Is easily able to discern content that is market viable for physicians versus patients versus the public. Has excellent understanding of how to use search engine insights to drive content improvements. Editorial competency: Strong writing ability including strong content curation judgment, copy-editing skills and attention to detail. Knowledge of AP style guide. EDUCATION: Required: Bachelors – English, Bachelors – Journalism, Preferred: Masters – English, Masters – Journalism
