Position Information: The AHEC Marketing Specialist develops marketing strategies and plans to increase awareness of AHEC service line activities and accomplishments, including publications, e-marketing, social media, and other opportunities, within budget perimeters and other resource considerations. The Specialist manages e-marketing through the statewide AHEC system ensuring participants receive timely and accurate information about programming and services and coordinates marketing with other AHECs as necessary. This position works with other staff to review brochures, promotional items, and other publications to ensure accuracy, professionalism, and adherence to AHEC branding guidelines and policies. Experience Requirements: 5 Years Related Position Experience Or 3 Years Public Relations, Marketing or Communications Required – And 2 Years Education – Health Preferred Education Required: Bachelor’s Degree Marketing Or Communication Or Related Field Required – And Master’s Degree Education Or Health Administration Or Related Field Preferred Licensure/Certification Requirements: Maintain Vehicle Operator Insurability Required Hours of Work: Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm Weekend Requirements: As Needed Call Requirements: None
