Nationwide, Job Description: The Athletics Marketing Coordinator assists with Assistant AD â“ Marketing & Ticketing with increasing the overall visibility of Brown Athletics through marketing, promotions and sales efforts. All division employees are required to demonstrate exemplary ethical conduct and conformance to NCAA rules and regulations; the duties of the position are to be performed in compliance with all NCAA, Ivy League and ECAC rules and regulations; and any rules violations on behalf of themselves or any knowledge of violations within the division are to be reported to the appropriate parties.Â Employees in coaching positions are required to pass the NCAA Coaches Certification Test and maintain current AED/CPR and First Aid certification (certification is available at no cost through the Division). Education and Experience: Â Bachelorâ™s degree, required. Minimum of one (1) to two (2) yearsâ™ experience marketing, promotions, and/or ticket sales preferred. Â Job Competencies Strong planning and organizational skills with demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, set priorities, and meet deadlines. Demonstrated ability to utilize computer software and other requisite programs. Strong interpersonal skills and excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to demonstrate a strong client service orientation; should be extremely customer focused on both internal and external customers and enjoy working with people from diverse backgrounds. Must be flexible with a high sense of accountability and responsibility. Willingness to be available on weekends or evenings when/if necessary. Possess a willingness and ability to support a diverse and inclusive environment. Must be physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Knowledge and understanding of, and commitment to compliance with, NCAA, ECAC, Ivy and University rules and regulations in regard to marketing/ticketing.
