Associate Manager, Client Services and Marketing – Hybrid | College of Saint Benedict/Saint John's University

Minneapolis, Deliver integrated strategies, campaigns and tactics that include various platforms such as direct mail, email, web, social media and events.   Guide leadership and team members with expertise, research and trends in academic support,  student athletics and other activities, including engagement with students, families, faculty and community members.   Provide marketing support to current Sports Information Directors for CSB + SJU Identify outcomes and ways to track, measure and report to clients.  Champion curricular and co-curricular priorities within the marketing communications team; provide evidence of the impact of the work (reporting, data, trends), and share stories of impact (student and alum successes, connection to mission/values, etc.) to internal and external stakeholders.  Provide support and backup for Client Services teammates serving enrollment, institutional advancement and other areas.  Establish an annual calendar and workflow that serves as a roadmap for the academic clients; supplement with project plans that maximize time, talents and budgets. Partner with existing athletics marketing team members to identify areas for support within each institution.  This could include analytics of web properties, social media metrics and/or development of collateral to support collegiate varsity sports for both CSB and SJU.     Utilize a marketing communications project management process (including tools and training) to build a culture of and deliver on high-volume, real-time client service. This includes conducting regular status meetings and consistent communication with clients and team members in person and via correspondence and project management tools. Troubleshoot ways to manage tight timelines, and budget and resource constraints, while maintaining quality and exceptional execution of details.  In this job, you’ll do things like: Deliver upon work assignments from key stakeholders across CSB +SJU academics requests and internal marketing team members Develop creative briefs that clearly outline objectives, goals and purpose and timelines.   Facilitate kickoff meetings and regular check-ins with partners and Marketing and Communications team members that articulate project scope, deliverables, individual roles and expectations.   Create reports and dashboards that measure performance and results.   Oversee the creation of marketing vehicles for voice, visual brand and accuracy.    The Associate Manager, Client Services and Marketing is: Passionate about higher education and marketing initiatives that heighten internal and external appreciation for, and support of, student academic success.    Understands and appreciates co-curricular programs, collegiate athletics, and their contribution to the overall student experience. Willingness to support team members across the department to deliver upon goals and objectives Creative and analytical; able to align functional marketing and communication concepts to measurable results.  Motivated by a fast-paced environment with high expectations for results, integrity and commitment to quality work and relationships.  Must-haves to apply for the job: Bachelor’s degree, preferably in marketing, communications, or related field.  2+ years of experience in a complex and dynamic organization or agency setting.   Experience creating integrated marketing plans that identify vehicles, audiences, platforms, research, and trends.  Proficiency in developing creative work—direct mail, email campaigns, web, social, etc.; expert at engaging with creative designers, writers, photographers and web developers. Experience organizing data in a visually appealing manner.   What will give you an edge: Experience in leading marketing or engagement efforts for student success in higher education.   Experience with project management and tools; sophisticated ability to plan team resources including capacity, timelines and budgets.
