Note: This position is in the “NL” category of employment (non-fixed work week) and individuals in this role have no claim or entitlement to time off or cash compensation for hours worked beyond their normal schedule. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. Compensatory time will not be granted for work done as an extension of the regular work day. SUMMARY: Reporting to the Director of Admissions, the Associate Director is responsible for the planning and execution of how the Office of Admissions manages, utilizes and integrates the CRM (Technolutions/Slate) in our daily work. The Associate Director supervises the recruitment staff in the Office of Admissions and is the official liaison to the Office of Marketing and Communications. The Associate Director works closely with the Director and Associate Directors to plan and strategize traditional and electronic communication sequences with prospective, applied and accepted students inviting students and families to virtual and on and off campus events and activities. The Associate Director is also responsible for the coordination of all on-campus recruitment events, including but not limited to: Open House, Admitted Student Day, Receptions, Luncheons and newly created events. The Associate Director provides detailed analytical reports on each event, evaluating data and creating recommendations for alignment with the strategic plan; supporting the recruitment team with data and resources to be successful in recruitment and enrollment of students. The Associate Director also partners with team members in managing the student ambassador program, campus tours, and marketing/brand enhancements to benefit the admissions student experience. Coverage for off-campus recruitment events may occur as assigned. DUTIES Supervise, train, empower, and evaluate recruitment staff to meet agreed upon enrollment goals; managing and supporting recruitment territories as assigned Manage and meet enrollment goals in the First-Year Enrollment Plan; including but not limited to the posting and awarding of scholarships and financial aid, processing and review of all first-year applications, decisions, and communications Manage and develop the admissions CRM (Technolutions/Slate). This includes oversight of the inquiry base, communications stream, application processing and data reporting. Oversee annual communication planning, analyze and report on relevant data, and make adjustments and recommendations accordingly. Coordinate all on-campus recruitment events; Open House, Admitted Student Day, other yield events, counselor events and any newly created events. Manage the on and off campus event and staff coverage calendars ensuring coverage of all events in a strategic manner Prepare and maintain comprehensive training documentation pertaining to the systems and associated processes, and train college personnel in the use of Slate. Serve as official liaison to the Office of Marketing and Communications and integrates brand elements into Admissions operations including but not limited to web enhancements, social media planning and execution, third party marketing and admissions management agreements, etc. Provide monthly data analysis to the Director and Vice President for Outreach and Engagement on strategic admission initiatives Serve on institutional committees as assigned by the Director of Admissions. Present Ramapo to external and internal constituencies as needed and directed by the Director of Admissions. Supports all team members with their use of CRM system and communication plans and management of tasks All other duties as assigned. REQUIREMENTS Graduation from an accredited college with a Master’s degree or equivalency as determined by the appointing authority. Applicants who do not possess the required education may substitute required experience on a year-for-year basis (30 credit hours is considered one year of college). Minimum of three (3) years professional experience in enrollment management or an admissions environment. Five (5) years preferred. Experience with a CRM system is required. Experience with Technolutions/Slate preferred. Excellent public speaking and strategic writing skills A car and valid driver’s license Ability to work evening and weekend hours PI187802239
