Fayetteville, Arkansas, The Associate Director – Marketing will work as part of the Athletic Department’s external operations team and will serve as the primary marketing contact for men’s basketball and additional assigned sport(s). Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the associate director’s duties will include creating and executing a comprehensive marketing plan for assigned sports, inclusive of attendance and revenue driving initiatives, in-game fan experience strategy and overall brand marketing for the program(s). Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others. Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, sport management, journalism, business or related area of study

2+ years experience in sports marketing, branding, communications, sponsorship or related field

Ability to work nights and weekends

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working with a collegiate or professional sports team

Graduate degree in sports management, marketing, business or related field

Experience directing a college basketball or college football game

Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign

Experience with email/database marketing

Experience being involved and/or directing videoboard and event run of show elements

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Strong written and verbal communications skills

Strong time management skills

Strong interpersonal skills

Ability to organize and precisely execute a game script
