37403, Tennessee, The Assistant Director of Marketing and Promotions reports to the Assistant Athletic Director for Marketing and Promotions and assists in our outreach and branding efforts.  Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Develop and execute annual marketing plans for all assigned sports/events Create and implement marketing strategies to help increase attendance and revenue for UTC Athletics, as well as enhance fan experience and gameday atmosphere for home contests Assist with marketing efforts to design and implement social media strategies that increase awareness of, and engagement with, UTC Athletics. Utilize email marketing strategies to provide improved customer service and communications Develop event scripts for assigned home contests, and assist with various gameday functions for assigned sports Oversight of the Scrappy’s Kids Club, the official kids club of the Chattanooga Mocs Assist with fulfillment of sold inventory by Mocs Sports Properties, the 3rd Party Multimedia Rights Holder for UTC Athletics Assist with marketing efforts for Southern Conference and NCAA Championship events hosted by UTC Oversee undergraduate internship program for athletics marketing Other duties as assigned The ideal candidate will possess the following: Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and meet deadlines. Ability to maintain positive relationships with external and internal constituencies and provide excellent customer service. Must have strong communications skills, both oral and written. Experience working with and knowledge of CRM, Email Marketing software preferred; (I.e. Salesforce, Paciolan, and Adobe Campaign.) Experience with design software preferred (i.e. Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) Must have working knowledge of MS software (I.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
