Under the supervision of the Associate Director of Graduate Recruitment and Marketing, the Assistant Director of Graduate Recruitment and Marketing is responsible for marketing, communications and graduate student recruitment at NYU Tandon School of Engineering. The Assistant Director will develop and implement strategies to meet graduate enrollment goals in accordance with the direction of leadership. The Assistant Director will play a critical role in developing enrollment outreach strategy including marketing media mix, collateral, and event planning. Responsible for oversight and management of a robust student ambassador program. In addition, work with leadership to establish strategic direction, priorities, and goals for the overall strategic recruitment plan, for NYU CUSP. This position is hybrid.
Responsibilities Required Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a related field Required Experience: 5 years experience with university admissions and/or student recruitment Preferred Experience: 2-5 years experience with international recruitment, stem higher education, working with US graduate students, planning events for enrollment management/admissions activities, supervision, higher education student recruitment, admissions and/or marketing a plus. Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Demonstrated ability using Slate as application, CRM, and events management. Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Proven leadership ability and skills. Excellent skills in problem solving, resolving complex admissions issues. Understanding of international markets for US-based STEM graduate education. Experience in using technology (e.g. PeopleSoft, enrollment management technology, web management, database management, PowerPoint, etc.) to support prospect and data management, and professional presentations. Excellent writing skills and interpersonal communication. Ability and interest in marketing academic programs. Demonstrate proven leadership ability, creativity, flexibility and a keen willingness to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, team-oriented office. Qualifications
