ASSISTANT DIRECTOR, ADMISSIONS MARKETING , Sloan School of Management , to create and manage innovative marketing content to attract applicants to Sloan master’s programs (MBA, MFin, MBAn, SFMBA, LGO, and MSMS); and create content that drives prospects through the admissions funnel (i.e., generates leads, engages prospects, nurtures applicants, and converts admits). This includes print publications, digital collateral, recruiting presentations, email communications, social media, admissions packets, and websites. Will strategically manage the timeline and budgets for the development of marketing materials, working closely with other members of the admissions marketing, recruiting, evaluation, and operations teams and other offices across MIT; lead external creative teams; write, edit, and develop creative content for internal and external audiences such as customized and personalized email communications to prospective applicants, admitted students, and event participants; collect and analyze marketing data, identify trends, recommend solutions, and communicate results; deliver on- and off-campus recruiting presentations, reads applications, and interviews candidates. Job Requirements REQUIRED : bachelor’s degree; at least three years of communications experience; ability and desire to work autonomously in a fast-changing, team-oriented environment in a flat organization and to function equally well as an initiator, facilitator, and implementer; skill with multitasking, setting priorities, and meeting deadlines; and an appreciation for diverse cultures and backgrounds and the ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of constituencies.
