Omaha, Nebraska, The Creighton University Athletic Department is now accepting applications for the position of Assistant Athletic Director for Marketing and Fan Experience. This position will report to the Executive Associate Athletic Director for External Operations. Creighton, located in Omaha, Nebraska, competes in NCAA Division I as a member of the BIG EAST Conference.

This Assistant Athletic Director for Marketing and Fan Experience will provide strong vision, leadership, management, coordination, execution, and oversight of the department’s marketing unit.

This position will work closely with the following units:

•Athletic Communications

•Ticket Office

•Creative Services

•Broadcasting and Interactive Media

•Corporate Sales and Sponsorship

This position will be responsible for will be responsible for creating a dynamic gameday environment for home events along with the development, implementation and maintenance of all marketing and promotions strategies as well as advertising that leads to increased visibility, competitive brand positioning and revenue generation for Creighton Athletics. Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree required in Public Relations, Communication, Marketing, Sports Management, or a related field.

2+ years of experience in marketing, development, communications, sales, or equivalent leadership experience

Proven ability to manage multiple units and to work cooperatively with various internal and external constituents

Excellent written and interpersonal communications skills

Direct experience in a Division I athletic department or professional sports organization

Master’s degree or advanced education

Experience in creating or overseeing the creation of marketing plans, brand strategy or ticket sales and service plans

Experience with budget management
